Baked Oatmeal

BAKED OATMEAL
-3 c. rolled oats
-3/4 c. sugar
-2 tsp. baking powder
-1 tsp. salt
-1 tsp. cinnamon
-1 c. milk
-1/2 c. melted butter
2 eggs
Mix ingredients and pour into a greased 8x8 baking dish.  (can refrigerate over night b/f cooking if it's for breakfast the next morning)
Bake @ 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
To serve, pour milk over top and mix.  Makes for yummy tummies on a cold morning or a great bedtime snack!

  1. I have tried to make this (different recipe) on a few occasions and it always turns out all wrong. I am going to give yours a shot if I can convince Dan and Mabry to give it one more try. Crossing my fingers.

  2. Jess,
I'm just like you. I had tried several recipes that just weren't good. My kids were skeptical, but they do like oatmeal so they were willing to try it. I think it was the 3/4 cup of sugar that won them over! Ha! I'd love to hear what you think of it. Good or bad. :)
