1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 1 /2 tsp coffee (I made 2 batches and just used one tsp for the kiddos)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
4 Tbs. butter, room temp.
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
4 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbs. milk
Powdered sugar

Melt chocolate chips over boiling water, stirring till melted.  Take off and cool.
Whisk flour, cocoa, coffee, bkg. powder, and salt.
In separate bowl beat butter and sugar.  Add egg and cooled chocolate.
Slowly add dry ingredients.
Add milk and spoon onto plastic wrap.  Wrap and chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls.  Roll in powdered sugar.  The thicker the better...and don't forget to use the help of any little assistants you may have running around to help make an enormous powdery mess!!! wonderful Christmas memories.  :)
Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake 12-14 minutes.
