Butter and Honey Rolls



Butter and Honey Rolls
~the are SO yummy!

-1/2 c. warm water
-pkg. active yeast
-1/2 tsp. sugar
-1/2 c. warm  milk (110 degrees)
-1 egg, room temp.
-1/3 c. soft butter
-1/3 c. sugar
-1 tsp. salt
-3 3/4 c. flour
-1/4 c. butter, soft
-2 Tbs. + 2 tsp. honey
1. In bowl of electric mixer, combine water, yeast and sugar.  Let rise 10 minutes.
2.  Add milk, egg, butter, sugar, salt and flour.  Mix w/ dough hook attachment on med-low for 10 minutes.
3.  Transfer to oiled bowl.  Cover and let rise 1 hour.
4.  Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface.  Divide in 1/2.  Let rest 10 minutes.
5.  In small bowl combine 1/4 c. butter and 2 Tbs+2tsp honey.  Set aside.
6.  Roll each 1/2 into 12 inch circles.  spread honey butter on both.  Cut each circle into 8 wedges and roll from the outside in.
7.  Place on cookie sheet and let rise 1 hour.
8.  Bake @ 350 12-14 minutes.
